Creating your first report

To create a report, we need data to base the report on.

Data that DataWarehouse Explorer can base a report on must be located on an Analysis Server or within a local cube file.

Please answer the following questions to get you up and running:

Do you have a machine that has Microsoft Analysis Services installed on it?

Yes

You can immediately create new reports based on your own company data.

Please proceed on to the creating new reports topic.

When prompted for a server, enter the name of your Analysis Services server.

Note: if you are connecting to an Analysis Services 2000 server, some additional action is possibly required, please see the requirements topic regarding Analysis Services 2000.
