Saving reports

To save a report

In the file section of the main ribbon click on
From the application menu select Save... or Save As...

 

This will display the save report dialog.

By default, the dialog will start in

 

The directory where a report was last saved to, or
The current folder in the web interface, if started using the DWE Portal and the New... button was pressed.
My Workspace if a previous report was never saved or the last location no longer exists.

In the dialog you can go to the right location, type a report name and a description and click on Save to save to the report to the selected location.

Note: a description is only supported when saving to a portal server. Local and remote disk drives do not support this feature.
