When a hierarchy is located on one of the axes, you can select which members you want to include in the results from within the Hierarchy editor.

Alternatively, you can quickly remove members from the current selection or only focus on a single member using the Eliminate and Isolate functions.

Isolating

To isolate a member, right click the member in the grid or chart and select the Isolate item. This will remove all members from the hierarchy except for the selected one.

Eliminating

To eliminate a member, right click the member in the grid or chart and select the Eliminate item. This will remove the selected member from the results.

Undo Eliminates

If members were previously eliminated using the Eliminate item, you can restore those members by clicking the Undo Eliminates item from the member context menu.
