In most cases you don't want to see rows or columns that don't have any results in them.

Also, suppressing empty rows and columns will benefit the performance.

By default, suppressing rows and columns is turned on.

Turning empty row and column suppression on or off

On the toolbar above the grid, click on the Options drop down button and select Suppress empty rows or Suppress empty columns to start or stop the suppression of empty values.
