Tool windows are windows within the interface that are not actually part of the report, i.e. they don't get printed or exported, but assist in creating the report or working with the application.
The following tool windows are available:

Contains the sources of data used to populate the report. |

Contains the list of available dimensions and hierarchies for a data source. |
| • | Filters
Contains the list of applied filters for a data source |
| • |
Contains the currently active selection for a hierarchy |
| • |
Provides insight into the structure of a cube and serves as a reference for cube objects. |
To open a tool window, click on the corresponding command in the ribbon.
