The chart can be extended with trend lines. Trend lines provide visual feedback on trend within the data.

Adding a trend line to the chart

•	Click on and scroll down to the Trend lines section. Check the type of trend line you wish to display.

The following trend line types are supported:

Pareto
This line shows the percentage of the running total with respect to the total value of all items.

Moving average

This line shows running average over an definable interval of points.

The Moving average period option determines the number of periods used when calculating the moving average trend line. This must be a value greater than 1.

Change the trend line appearance

The color of the trend lines and the trend line markers can be changed.

You can also optionally hide the value labels for trend lines.
